Here is a comprehensive list of all fees that you could expect to pay (as appropriate) when renting a property through Stanford Grey as a tenant. All fees are inclusive of VAT.

Before

  • £200.00    Administration Fee
  • £100.00      Referencing Fee (per tenant or permitted occupant over the age of 18)

If you should withdraw (after paying a Holding Deposit) *Please note these charges ONLY apply if you reserve a property with a Holding Deposit and then request a refund of that deposit. Stanford Grey reserves the right to deduct their expenses from the Holding Deposit as follows;

  • £95.00      Viewing Appointments
  • £35.00      Taking of holding deposit and supply of application forms
  • £150.00    Failure to return application forms within the required 7 days (to include follow ups by phone, email or other means)
  • £150.00    Referencing forms completed and failed, or reference form completed but applicant withdraws
  • £150.00     Inventory Prepared
  • £60.00       Cancellation of Check in with less than 48 hours notice

During

  • ​£95.00      Renewal Fee for each additional tenancy agreement
  • £35.00      Late rent payment fee (as appropriate only and on each occassion, court fees may also apply)
  • £150.00    Early release fee (as appropriate only)
  • Eviction Fees (vary, as appropriate only and court fees may also apply)
  • Please note; contractor "missed appointment" charges may be passed on to the tenant where reasonable and where an appointment has been agreed and not kept by the tenant

After
